The introduction of the work by Sahraian, Fazelzadeh, Mehdizadeh, and Toobaee (2008) is self-sufficient from the view that it brings out the clear definition of the term burnout. They indicate that burnout is an incident whereby the workers of a particular job are overwhelmed by stressful events in the workplace. The questionnaires administered to the nurses of Iran descent, comprised of twenty-eight items that focused on general health issues while the inventories used was that of Maslach. From these tools, the researchers were in a position to discern morbidity, as well as burnout among the one year, experienced nurses.

From the research, it was found out that nurses who worked in the psychiatry wards displayed an escalating level of exhaustion, both physical and emotional. Since the levels and development of nurses’ burnout vary with working environments, the users of this research must be very keen to compare all the responses indicated from each environment and slot all the information in similar categories, in order to have comprehensive research.
