These steps are, assessing the need of change in the practice, linking the problems, outcomes and interventions, synthesizing the best evidence, designing the practice change, implementation and evaluation of the change in practice, and maintaining and integrating the change in practice. All these steps are clearly identified and defined in this work by Ms Duplessis. In explaining the first step, Miss Duplessis is effective in identifying the need of change.
