Dizzy Gillespie brought the fame of Afro-Cuban jazz in 1946 when he was working alongside Bauza. In addition, it is amazing to understand that the elements of jazz music go back to historical artists who were marvelous in the likes of Alberto Socarras and Machito and his Afro-Cubans (AllMusic 2014).
