The article enabled me to develop a better understanding of virtuoso as used in the musical context. It also facilitated my understanding of how the various parts of the human body are involved in the control of our voice and specifically which voice register pop singers usually utilize to produce a high pitch in their songs.
Additionally, I have learned various concepts and vocabulary about music that include the role of pitch in determining the type of voice that an individual produces. Furthermore, my knowledge of the concept of resonance as used by singers to increase the loudness and the distance that sound can travel has been strengthened.
Besides, I learned interesting concepts such as vocal registers and phonation and their role in modulating the quality of the voice, the concept of placement and belting technique. The historical development of the piano provided the basis for the appreciation of the current piano technology and how different pianist revolutionized the music industry.
