I believe that I have good nurturing capabilities especially because I tend to maintain a friendly atmosphere in the class which serves as a catalyst in the process of nurturing the children. “Good teachers do more than teach; they inspire.” (McCutchen 50). Facilitator: I believe that an early childhood teacher facilitates the process of learning by designing the lecture in such a manner that ensures good participation and development of interest on the part of the children. I regularly plan my daily lectures with a view to facilitating my clients’ comprehension and understanding of the subject.

Communicator: Children learn to communicate and convey their opinion in an educated manner by observing the mannerism of their teachers. I tend to communicate with the little fellows in a friendly and decent manner and hope that they sense the decency in my tone and adopt the same in their communication for their whole life. Coordinator: It is my responsibility to coordinate the activities, tasks, and various classroom works of my children so that they learn to work with harmony, peace, and friendship.

The friendly attitude I maintain with the children helps me coordinate their works and activities effectively. Manager: Management is one of the most fundamental duties of a teacher. Without good management, children lose their focus and indulge in unproductive works, arguments, and occasional fights. The way I plan my lecture helps me manage my class well and keep them busy in productive knowledgeable activities. Goals for guiding children’s behavior: To guide the behavior of children, there are the following goals: Development of brotherhood: It is important to guide the behavior of children so that they learn to work in teams with harmony, peace, and cooperation.

Children happen to socialize with one another as per the guidance of the teacher. Therefore, the guidance should be such so as to ensure that they indulge in healthy arguments, and facilitate one another in their works. Mannerism: The way an individual socializes in his/her professional life has a strong relationship with the concepts an early childhood teacher inculcates in him/her. The future of a nation is in the hands of its youth.
