Here, the paper intends to calculate the speed of the F1 cars with and without airfoils using many concepts like centripetal force, angular acceleration and coefficient of friction. (Thesis) The speed of F1cars depends upon many factors and this can be calculated easily with the use of Foilsim software. The different speed limits of the car is given along with car mass, width and height of car, centre of gravity and tyres friction. From these aspect the maximum many types of problem solving needs to be done.

Here , in this paper, different tyre conditions are given and with this the maximum speed of the car with and without aerofoils need to be calculated. Formula 1 car used many aspects when it comes to the issue of its speed and frictions. So inorder to calculate the speed of F1 cars with or without airfoils many concepts like centripetal force, angular acceleration and coefficient of friction are used. The speed of the car can be anywhere from 50 mph to 1000mph and at this time the tyre condition can be varying.

With an assumption of certain speed and tyre conditions the maximum speed is calculated. Also the software Foilsim III has been used to understand various aspects of aerofoils like the shape, span and chord, geometry and so on. These calculations presented above show case the speed of the car at various situation and also gives an overview of car slipping condition when a certain force and tyre condition is
