Caves do not exist in most places so those places cannot be what moat groundwater looks like.

Student II is right because most groundwater forms a water table as the water perforates through aquifers using spores, it goes and settles thus forming a water table.

Aquifers would have high porosities. This is because the rocks contain open pore spaces that contain sand and gravel that are loosely packed. The pore spaces have porosities of about 25% which makes them allow liquid to flow through the pore spaces, hence having high permeability.

Aquifers have high permeability this it increased percolation of water. This water is collected underground. Circle the rock listed below that would make a good aquifer. Sandstone, high porosity, high permeability. Impermeable layers are layers that are barriers to groundwater flow. Gneiss, low porosity, low permeability.

The oil is located below the permeable layer. Therefore there is a need to dig below limestone to extract oil.
