The Advanta Vitamin D 3 supplement contains 5000 IU of the vitamin D 3 composition. They are packed in a bottle containing 90 capsules. Vitamin D 3 is considered as the most common form of vitamin D in terms of composition and activity. The supplement dosage is supposed to be one tablet on daily basis. The Advanta Vitamin D 3 supplement is said to have a high absorption rate hence it is capable of restoring the levels of vitamin D that are required in the body instantly. Vitamin D 3 is purposely developed as a dietary supplement and is highly rich in Vitamin D3. The product has been well labelled and it appears in form of capsules (NIH 1).

No major side effects that have been associated with the supplementation of Vitamin D 3. However, when consumed in high dosage, it can result to fatigue, headache, loss of appetite, sleepiness, and general body weakness. This indicates that the supplement is highly safe and should be consumed in desirable doses. Studies have been done to establish the specific role of vitamin D in the Parkinson’s disease. Evatt et al.(2008) established that vitamin D has a potential role in the development of the Parkinson’s disease.
