She explained that her father explained his marriage to people in the world after he was from an operation in one of the hospitals in Paris and that he was still recovering with his condition improving and becoming stable, while in the hospital in Paris. As indicated earlier on the daughter revealed that his dad was married to a French woman of Algerian descent, but she did not disclose her identity. She added that the reason her father decided to remarry was, that he wanted to fill the gap left by his former wife when the divorced almost 11 years from that period. During that period, there were also rumors that Mohammed Abdu had decided to quit music, claims that were denied by the daughter again Noura, stating that He was just advised by the doctors to ensure he is under bed rest during that period. She told the people that Mohammed Abdu was not going to perform any songs at that period that he was sick, but she also refuted claims his father had quit singing. Abdu was airlifted to France when he suffered stroke, but he was discharged from the hospital two months later after a thorough check up and treatment. During this period, he underwent a heart operation after which the doctors were able to assess his condition and ascertained that he had shown great improvement. He responded well to treatment by doctors while he was in France. Abdu is currently signed to two music ventures namely, Rotana and Sot AlJazirah where he has continued to produce a number of songs.
