All through the text, scholars have utilized diverse artistic periods, which were present in Europe by then and contributed in the altering of people’s thinking. For instance, in chapter four; “From the classical to the Hellenistic world”, where its existence served as core essence in the Western Civilization especially in art and music. This is evident in current music, though, classical genre has incorporated numerous styles intending to flavor youths’ taste. Other periods encompass Enlightenment, Renaissance and Roman Gold Age (Yazdani, Hasan, & Rana 254). It is intriguing how the authors have featured numerous aspects in this book, for instance, industrialization and urbanization. This was before and after times where societies encountered transformations, which yielded to numerous wars due to competition among the states. Hence, the phenomena extending to the present, though, mostly this has assumed to utilizing technological tactics.
The core target of this text entails highlighting diverse and significant historical events that to date historians and other scholars associate to Western Civilization. Many events and occasions constituting this civilization have tremendously catapulted the West to where it is current economically.
