Object Choice Object in psychoanalysis proves to be mysterious because it is not constant and changes behavior. There is unknown zone that takes care of the object concentration of psychological energy on one person hence important for its continuation. The object involves unstable, preconscious, and conscious human souls as well as its continuation. Object is a complex term and thus hard to define. The complexity of the term object occurs because it has several meanings; partial object, full, narcissistic, internal, external, and self-object links as well as object choice among others (Kernberg 42). Hence the difficulty of relating to other people is likely to lead to uncertainty. The relationship between the drive and objects results from the inside pressure of the organism and the corresponding nee. It is by this relationship that the aim is achieved. The valuable thing is the element of the drive and therefore not fundamentally connected to the drive but has to be constructed. An object does not need to be uncommon but should be anything that is vulnerable to human soul including his body through object human soul and narcissistic. Freud described a sequence of pre-genital stage, that is more understood as defined by the component drives than the genetically terms. Contentment of each part was connected to anal, oral, and phallic. The idea of part object exists in partial drive. The choice of the object therefore unifies the sexual yearning in genetic factors, and orients to others do not occur until puberty. The drive that specifically relates to the part or total object, a part of a person or a whole person, and to total object i.e. love or hatred are clearly differentiated. An object is renowned as a source of pleasure and love which are converted into an ego in the Narcissistic stage (Roussillon 42). In Freud’s, points out that hate and love should not be referred as drives for their objects but reversed for the relationship with the total ego of objects. Therefore, the choice of an object refers to the love object and not the drive object (Mitchell). In ego libido as opposed to object libido as referred by Freud, the object appearance is expressed in terms of limited sense of the external part of an object, which does not involve the ego. Moreover, it vividly emerge that he concentrates on psychological and intra-psychological theory. Roussillon analysis of Freud’s Anaclisis theory in chapter eight required more from self-preservation than is crucial from the object (Roussillon 232). The child was responsible for satisfaction of their bodily needs and development of their autoerotisms in preparation for their existence and sexuality in future. The impacts of the first identification in childhood are lasting as well as general. This concept makes us recall the ego’s origin, which has hidden once and important identification with the father’s prehistory; before the child’s awareness of the differences among the sexes such as lack of the genital parts. This aspect does not differentiate the value between the parents. Hence, the results of the object- cathexes are an immediate identification, which occurs earlier than object-cathexes. In this psychological analysis, the minds of the mother and father play a very important role in the formation of the human’s representation from the childhood stage of children. They transfer the meaning on the child’s acts, which is the maternal reverie meaning rendered by the mother to the child give rise to a different meaning in the subject that becomes intertwined in a complicated procedure that result in the analytical treatment of the bivocal melody. Study about ancient functional status, feature in the human soul from the prehistoric self-object, and part object are complex in living organisms. They are unstable entities, which are not affected by external factors. These factors are favorable, the living organisms separates. Integration and adaptation to reality depends essentially on the infant’s experience of the mother’s love and care. The connection between the object and the subject feature the significance of the object’s reaction in the formation of the fundamental fantasy shared by the child and his or her mother; the transitional space where the object undergoing transition is represented (Ainsworth 971). Hallucinations arise in reaction to the increased tension separate from the reality of the primary binding. In the inexistence of the object, the excitement of the drive and the hallucination is solved through binding and bonding. In the event that the object is not available, excitement should stop going beyond the subject’s ability to re-structure through the process that is necessary for continuity of being. Otherwise, in the presence of the object as stipulated by hallucination, the object’s formed as well as transformation of the hallucination to fantasy i.e. maternal love decrease and triggers an upsurge of destruction that relate to distress and anger of the object’s in attunement. He further argues that the objects were discovered in hatred resulted from frustration in child’s symbolization process. It is for this reason that the object has to adapt to the destructive activity where there is fundamental absence of withdrawal, lack of retaliation, and lack of creativity. The object has the role to play in the destructivity during the gap created against the primary background to the need of the subject hence introduced support brings in the experience field, which cause symbolization (Ainsworth 974). Psychoanalysts argue that the mothers psyche can give the child’s psychic combination. In Denise Braunschweig, “lover’s censure” where the mother goes through during pregnancy, her childhood experience may relate to the newborn illusion. This may result a conflict that convey her to condemn the newborn in introduction of illusions in humans life to prevent the child from the craving for the father’s genital in the child is comatose. These psychic realities confuse the perception that comes in the mother that necessitates duping the child. Serge Lebovici in the Fantasmatic Interactions, the relationship between the mother and the child in infant stage gives the analytic concept of the interaction, which to a larger extent is affected by the objective reality. The object is discovered based on the child’s feelings, which modifies his or her experience through transformation. The rhythm of child’s mother absence- present can allow the knowledge of satisfaction of hallucination as the skill, drive orientation towards an object. This concept relates to the non-fulfillment experience for when found, it got and ceased to have any clinical seen psychic existence (Mitchell) Freudian model suggest that subject and object are reciprocal terms, eliminating the object always means eliminating the libidinal subject and sexuality. The object is the basic drive. There is a component between the subject’s pole or the ego-subject and subject since the drive and the object in any case brings in the object. The external object relationship and internal object is undisputable. Objectification concept is described as ego, characterized by definite object appropriations and changes the object’s status and how it relates and creates objects on the basis of the drive activity. Objectification function is corresponded by the appearance of sexual drive, which is its opposite, and negative i.e. diobjectlization, which represents the death drive. Symbolization is placed for destruction as dramatization is changed into an actualization. Diobjectlization work to remove the object from cathexes connected to it. It can also move them to concentration of once mind on one person towards narcissistic cathexes. This leads to narrowing the field of distinctness. The ego defines the perception and intellectual ability that leads to secondary form of mental activity; however, there is convergence between the reactions to this theory that majored on narcissistic disorders. Objects are not related based on the style of relationship with others but the way of fantasy and imaginary interaction of the object that is maintained to more or less level by other’s perceptions. In conclusion, every fantasmatric relationship of object engages an interaction by self-representation, merge into personality, which influences the person’s development. Narcissism based on the former reasons cannot be regarded as return of the drive for internalization of self-representation and illustration of others that constitutes intrapersonal relations. Self-representation comes from the part-object, which are indicators of depression and lowliness feeling of the child. Narcissism occurs at the archaic development stage because of poor differentiation of the psychic agencies. Therefore, narcissism is a combination of disease like id, superego, and ego that come because of excessive burden of archaic aggressive drives. Works Cited Ainsworth, Mary.
