They have many encounters on their adventure, for instance they meet a gang of robbers and steal their money. Huck also meets a family named the Grandersons who have a feud with the Shepherdsons. Huck also stops a scam from occurring by two people named the Duke and dauphin. Huck steals their gold and hides it and then tells the people about how they were thieves. These guys then sell Jim the slave away and Huck tries to free him. Tom and Huck run into a house and free Jim, but Tom gets shot in the process.
Tom doesn’t die though because Jim helps him despite this causing him to be caught again. When Tom recovers he surprises everyone by saying Jim is actually free all along. Apparently, Tom just planned the escape plan for a fun game. Huck then finds out his abusive father is now dead and decides to travel and live out West. The next book I read was Hamlet Prince of Denmark. William Shakespeare wrote this book. This book was very hard to read because it was written in mostly poetry, but there were a lot of strong and powerful parts.
The book begins with Prince Hamlet upset at his mother and uncle for getting married soon after his father’s death. Later the ghost of Hamlet’s father arrives and tells Hamlet that his uncle Claudius killed Hamlet’s father and that Hamlet makes get revenge for the death. Hamlet spends much of the book debating the best time to kill Claudius. He sees a good opportunity, but Claudius is praying so if he killed him then Claudius would go to heaven. Ophelia is a major character in the book and she tells Hamlet that she cannot be with him, so he becomes very upset and begins pretending like he is crazy.
A group of actors come to the castle and Hamlet has them re-play the way that Claudius murdered Hamlet’s father so he can watch his reaction. After this Hamlet mistakes Polonius for someone and kills him. This causes Ophelia to go crazy and kill herself. Hamlet gets sent away, but kills Rosencrantz and
