            One of the reasons why businesses use the MBTI in dealing with people is so that each individual can understand how to get along. As an example, in a group setting, it is important for the group members to understand each other so they will respect one another's position. One way to do this is to give everyone the MBTI so that each person can have fun learning about it, and also gain an understanding of each other.

            There are many places to go online to take the MBTI if you are interested. One of my favorite places to go is www.personalitytype.com (Tieger, 2009) because this site gives a lot of information about the type and lets people take a short form of the profile so they can get a quick understanding of who they are. As an example, the website MMDI gives great information about this test and a link at the bottom lets you take the test.

            Personality is very important in understanding people and humanism began to help this happen easily.
