Some of his favorites are Terry’s café, Baby Mammoth, etc. Rashid also has a passion for reading books. In fact, three books are very close to his heart. One of the books speaks of how a person can motivate the world with his ideas and thoughts thereby bringing in a change in the world.

The restaurants that he has designed have been planned in such a way that the customers can make themselves feel comfortable, entertained, and relaxed. Rashid does not love nature. The greatest loss in his life is that of his wife’s death. Disloyalty is the one quality that Rashid hates most. Rashid has also written a book named “I want to change the world, it’s a big world”.

A designer while designing must also keep in mind the background and the purpose of the project otherwise such a design will become useless. (Karim Rashid, 2010)Discussion of form and content:The discussion is based on the art of designing and on how a famous designer Karim Rashid has achieved success in his life.

Designing is an art that revolves around hard work, perseverance uniqueness, and creativity. Rashid has used these qualities in his work and has become a world-famous designer. The forms of using various kinds of shapes and giving them a meaningful base are what Rashid has done. Although there are criticisms regarding his work, which says that increasing use of Rashid’s work will ultimately lead to diminishing marginal utility, he will and he shall be considered as one of the greatest designers of recent times.

Discussion of intent: Purpose: The purpose is to understand that designing like any other work or profession has its due importance. It involves a huge amount of creativity in it. If the designer is not able to use his creative quality in the proper direction, then he shall not be able to excel in his work, and neither will he be able to reach out to a large number of customers. Last but not least the paper basically cites Karim Rashid’s case as a brilliant example in this context.
