Further, the teacher’s effectiveness would be measured according to the various reports that are gathered by the faculty coordinators. These include feedback from the students, the ratings assigned by the students for a particular course etc. The student reports would indicate the broad direction of faculty effectiveness and the additional parameters like rapport with students is to be used to indicate the effectiveness of the faculty towards the teaching process.
Further, observation of the teaching methods is indeed a useful method that can be used to analyze the effectiveness of the teachers. Finally, for lower scores I can use the SPTE reports that gather a wide range of factors and include details on the different aspects of the teaching process. For higher scores, the student reports are enough to determine the effectiveness of the teaching process.
