This puts forward a question as to the reasons that have contributed to a decline in iPod sales and the factors that have led to a similar drop for some of Apple’s other products. From the perspective of the analyst, the goal of making a product like the iPod is to generate revenue through sales and remain profitable through related business operations.
Abramsky further cautions that the explosive growth in iPhone sales since its introduction in 2007, has been constantly decelerating the expansion of the iPod, whose presence is approaching a level of saturation within the consumer electronics market.
