According to a survey it was revealed that around 36% to 37% of patients were admitted in an Arab hospital every year due to the drug problems. (Bickel, pg 326, 1996) CAUSES OF DRUG USE: The data which is related to the drug abuse in the country Saudi Arabia is termed as very much scarce. It is also assumed that the situation related to the drug abuse in Saudi Arabia is still not at such an alarming level, it means that the drug related situation can be controlled and the country can be lead to a safer side. But apart from this some drug related problems are there which should be managed in order to make the country safer and secure. Some reports mentioned that there was a rising abuse of the drugs named as heroin as well as cocaine. The use of these drugs are no doubt increasing day by day and making many problems for the country, people due to many problems and due to many reasons are going towards a wrong direction and are being addicted to wrong things and means. People after being addicted to drugs usually think that life is only to have drugs and to ruin our life; this is not a correct or the right way to think. People should try to think than what so ever they are doing is not a correct way and they should not ruin their lives. Young people usually get addicted to drugs and there is an increasing ratio which shows that young people, college people and the university people are those who are going to these activities and are also making their life worse and worse. These problems should be resolve in order to make each and every life better and better so that every one can live easily with full zeal and zest and can also make their life the healthy one. By taking drugs it has also been found that most of the people who are living in Saudi Arabia and those who are being addicted to the drugs are the university students or the college students. (Bickel, pg 326, 1996) A huge percentage actually shows that the people of Saudi Arabia are ruining their lives, are trying to get the short term reliefs and are totally unaware from the facts that how it will affect their future. It is necessary to know that drugs are not the source of relief. You can take drugs but in the end you will have to suffer a lot. As mentioned above this country is facing problem due to the drugs to some extent but if it is not controlled at a right time then it will increase and thus will create a lot of problems. (Ruyer, pg 156, 2002) DURG POLICIES USED IN SAUDI ARABIA There are many different kinds of drug policies, which have been used in Saudi Arabia, in order to control the use of drugs and to save the nation. Apart from all these activities, UN have also contributed a lot in order to endorse a criminal based justice which is basically based on the narcotics kind of strategy, in order to control all the unwanted situation which are some how there in Saudi Arabia and therefore to control the problems. UN has no doubt contributed a lot in order to control the entire drugs related situation and to save the nation from any mishap situations. Different NGOs are also there which have contributed a lot in order to save the nation from this kind of problem. (Goldstein, pg 353, 2001) Health is an important element for each and every one; it should be handles with care in order to make your future the bright one. People actually are unaware from all the medical facts and figures which actually tells us that how drugs harm our lives. It is an important issue to be considered and one should not neglect or ignore it as it can harm our lives to a great extent. Proper treatment is necessary for those people who are addicted to the drugs in order to safe their lives and also to make their future the better one. (Muse, no pg, 1991) DRUGS USED FOR TREATEMENT PURPOSE: Apart from all the health related issues, drugs are also used for the treatment purpose. HIV is one of an alarming problem, which can be resolved by using drugs. The drugs which are used in this purpose are listen below: 1. Anti-HIV. 2. ARVs. 3. HIV antiviral drugs. 4. Antiretroviral. These above mentioned drugs are very much important and are also used for the treatment of HIV aids. From this, we can assume that not every drug is harmful, it is our main responsibility to keep an eye that what we are taking and what are the advantages or disadvantages of that particular drug. CHANGES IN THE POLICIES ABOUT DRUG USE AND FORMATS OF TREATEMENT IN SAUDI ARABIA Saudi Arabia like all the other countries has also experienced the drug use based phenomenon from many years. However, first this drug use for limited to some people or to the limited groups but then later on it flourishes to all the regions or areas and due to this problem raised. When a country is facing huge problems due to drugs, then it should take some safety measures in order to resolve all these problems. Same is the situation with Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia has also taken some safety measures in order to make their country the best and the healthy one which will be free from any kind of problems or difficulties and no one can harm it. (Strans, pg 240, 2005) WHO has also taken many steps and along with this many other health related Saudi Arabia based organization has taken many steps in order to overcome all the drugs related problems and also to make sure that all the activities are going in a right and correct direction. The government is the one who is working in this situation and trying to remove or trying to overcome all the health related problems. Different high related policies were there which were consider by this country in order to make sure that all the people or residence of this country are not ruining their lives and are also making their lives better and better. Health related policies are termed as the useful policies because with the help of this people can actually make their lives better and better and can also generate the bets outcomes. (Strans, pg 240, 2005) CONCLUSION Drugs are the most harmful thing or element which can ruin your life and can also make your life the worst one. Therefore it is very much necessary for each and every single person to make sure that he or she is not harming their life and is not taking drugs in order to get a short time relief. Drugs can not make your lives easier and it is not the solution of your problems. If you see it in a wider perspective you cannot imagine that how it actually ruins your lives and how it makes your life the worst one. (Edwards, pg 761, 2007) People basically thinks that by taking drugs nothing will happen, but as a matter of fact this is a wrong perception. By taking drugs you are killing yourself from the inner side and you are totally unaware from this fact. You actually don’t know that how you are running your lives. It is very much important to know what the harmful affects of the drugs are and how it actually ruins your life. As mentioned above proper treatment should be given to all those drug addicted people and proper care should be given to them in order to safe their lives and also to make them aware from all the drugs related problems. For this purpose different seminars and programs are also arranged in Saudi Arabia. As being a Muslim country this is totally forbidden in the religion and people should try not to take this habit because by this you can make your life the worst one and along with this your loved ones will also get harmed. Therefore it is very much necessary to make sure that you are following the right ways and the directions as directed by your country and you are also following the correct ways. Drugs can give you relief but in the end you will suffer to a great extent, therefore one should try to make sure that he or she is not getting into the wrong activities and he or she is not getting into the wrong habits. Saudi Arabia has also taken a lot of steps in order to safe this country from all the wrong deeds and activities. Now it is the responsibility of the people who are living in this country to make sure that they are not taking the wrong habits and are not making their own lives the worst one.
