I realized that every affected person pointed at the organization’s way of operation as the major factor that led to collapse. Mismanagement of organizations was a general term that could not be used to substantiate the reason for dissatisfaction of workers as well as the reduction in organizational productivity. In my quest to know what exactly was mismanaged to culminate in the collapse of some of the most profitable organizations in the country, I realized that most of the employees complained of inadequate communication with the top management before the collapse.

Others claimed that they were not involved in the decision making process, and that all decisions were made by the top managers. I also realized that in many of these organizations, there was no team work. A close friend of my father happened to be one of the employees who lost their job as a result of organizational failure. Even though he attributed the failure to economic recession, he blamed the organization for failing to motivate workers to be more productive at that time. I later learned that organizational behavior is significant in the accomplishment of organizational goals, which motivated me to study regarding this important aspect of organizations.

My interest continued getting ingrained in my mind as I advanced in education. I took a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, which gave me the skills of managing organizations to success. I have a banking experience whereby I oversaw the implementation of tasks by employees. In my duties, I realized that generating satisfaction amongst employees is significant for their productivity. The relationship between employees and the management is significant in the effective completion of tasks (Beardwell & Claydon, 2007 p 60).
