Extract of sample "Job Description for a Project Manager"

Promoting and encouraging teamwork within its workforce to improve and improvise the work performance is an integral part of the job description. Sjostrand and Tyrstrup, in one of their article, have argued that managerial leadership needs to be approached as a relational, ongoing social construction process rather than as a single clear cut phenomenon (2001). The project manager thus needs to have an innovative approach so as to meet the challenges of the unexpected circumstances that may arise within the project development and execution process.
