This study will seek to enlighten how BSA attains its objectives of character and citizenship development and answer questions on how it promotes citizenship. I have found out in the handbook important basic things that shape the character of an individual to become a responsible citizen.

The handbook details the character development of BSA members. It explains opportunities of being close to nature; becoming a leader and member of a group; knowing how to survive; and fortifying their oaths to be always prepared, and be able to serve.
