• Standardized Domain Report: The domain uses industry-standard video and audio peripherals. This is one of the many uses of modern IP Conferencing. When off-the-shelf video equipment is used, it creates a situation of reliability and easiness to replace faulty equipment. The Domain supports any video input, be it USB 1.0 and 2.0 or Window DirectX (WiredRed 2008).
• Strategic current and feasible domain definition: The domain supports enhanced definitions of 720P or higher resolution but lower than HD frame rates. For instance, Logitech Fusion and Ultra Vision are two popular examples that produce surprising high-resolution images wonderfully at fine business-class rates (WiredRed 2008).

• User perceived values: The User perceived values for the domain include easy installation, best multiparty video, and audio quality, real-time PowerPoint sharing, the fastest desktop sharing, and proxy friendly remote controls, real-time presenter’s controls, record and playback, secure web conferencing, and true web administration and management (WiredRed 2008).
• The domain is currently based in countries in Nigeria and Malaysia (Sarawak) with its product range across other locations in the countries. In education, the software has been used in Kent College, where students could cheaply discuss with their off-site teachers (WiredRed 2006).
• The products are Windows compatible: this means that the User can use any USB 2.0 webcam. Also, it works well with any S-video as an out cable mated to a Windows compatible video capture card (WiredRed 2008)
• The users could move from one product to the other in the domain. This explains interconnectivity among the product range. And this would facilitate multiple functionalities that would be cost-efficient (Gough & Rosenfield 2006).
• Market Segmentation and pricing: The product range is available in many countries in the world. The pricing range is stated as follows:

• Some of the products in the domain help to facilitate quick and clear video conferencing, but some constraints arise as a result of the product’s components, compatibilities, and programming context. For example, a product that is Windows compatible has problems working perfectly with non-Windows operating systems. And different programming procedures used in producing the software/solutions constitute friction in the smooth operation of the domain.
• Implementation strategies: the domain’s products are implemented bearing in mind the individual system requirement needed for each product to function optimally. Take, for instance, a solution/product that required Windows or Windows-related systems are set up using the right operating system.
• Development strategies: Each product is monitored for standardization and efficiency. And their performances are recorded for periodic development. Personnel is trained to have knowledge of product development. And the products are subjected to routine checks to ascertain they are not working below the accepted standards.

1. Domain Framework Development:

• The nature of domain framework can be defined as an arrangement of systems whereby the presenter and the participant can have access to each other through the action of video conferencing software sending information to the internet through a firewall.
• The architecture of the domain framework is similar to WireRed’s e/pop web and video conferencing system, as shown below:

• Documentation of framework components: The major components of the framework are presenter, participant, e/pop conferencing web server, firework, and the Internet.
• The framework is classified in the way that it makes it easy for informational retrieval. The minimum system requirement has RAM that could save data in the process of recording and playing back the necessary information.
• The framework is arranged in a way that supports reuse, customization, and extension.

1. Project:

• Since the location for the implementation of the project is Kenyan’s Rift Valley Province, a survey of the location was carried out. The province is densely populated and its economic activities picking up gradually. But since its location is quite far from the Nairobi, Internet connection is sparse, and the locals have limited access to the Internet (Brass, Jolly & National Research Council 1993). A rigorous study is made on the impact of bringing a new technology idea of teleconferencing into the province. The people’s reactions are encouraging, and their enthusiasm helps the project attain a dynamic dimension.
• The progress of the project was slow at first, but it picks us surprisingly and the participants are doing well with the use of the technology.
• The locals are trained to operate the solutions, and those who were not exposed to technology were encouraged to go for further training at colleges and vocational centers.

2. (i) I achieve a lot as I fully participated in the training, implementation, and monitoring.

(ii) I personally partook of all the processes, spending most of my time with the locals and checking on their understanding of how the technology works.
