It is very detailed and covers fashion as a social and cultural statement. It discusses the 'flow' of fashion and the cyclical nature of it. It is informative to find out where fashion originates. It primarily covers it from an industry standpoint and highlights the innovations and industry icons.

It also has some interesting quotes from magazines that relate to makeup from the early 1900s. It is a look at the crimes people will commit to acquiring fashion. It also points out the dangers of flaunting fashion.
