For instance, if Country X is unable to upgrade its military services, then it can sign an ACSA to receive logistical support. The condition of this agreement is that Country X must be ready to reimburse the US after the provision of the logistical services (MIDJLD).  It is also significant that logistical support consists of temporary usage of another nation’s building, maintenance services, and spare parts delivery.  ACSA also provides for the prohibited items that the US should not offer to country X since this can lead to dangerous repercussions. The prohibited items include ground combat cars, helicopter or vassal vessels among others (ACSA, n.p). This is because they support the initiation of war against the opposing rivals and might affect international peace.

Host nation support (HNS) is also an agreement that permits the US Army to use the host nation's recruits, equipment, services, and amenities to enhance or augment US Army support. This helps with combating service support mission necessities in a foreign country during crisis periods, transition to warfare, and wartime (Department of the Army570-9). HNS is implemented in a country that lacks civil security, control, governance, and essential services by establishing facilities that will identify risks and threats from external parties. In this regard, the host nation provides the necessary support required to protect the interest of the US in times of crisis or warfare. The host nation should ensure that they provide safe areas free of interference or threats where the US can install training facilities. This implies that country X must permit the US to provide their personnel, services, or facilities for the exchange program purposes. The communication between the two countries facilitates extended support during attacks, crises, or warfare (Department of the Army570-9).

Mutual Support Agreement enables both countries to establish a common concept about the provision of logistical support, equipment, or facilities (Department of Defense, nap). Mutual Support Agreement operates under defined policies that enhance reimbursement and provision of logistical support without causing sabotage. As a result, it is essential to adopt this agreement in countries that lack civil security, control, and governance by ensuring that the concerned parties perform their roles appropriately. Country X must arrange collection and transportation of supplies received under the agreement and ensure safe storage (Department of Defense, nap).  This shows the commitment of country X to see through the deal by organizing for the clearance of the materials at the borders. The Mutual Support Agreement offers the roadmap that Country X and the US must follow when supplying the logistical support and reimbursements.
