"Randomized Clinical Trial" is a great example of a paper on medical ethics. Medical practitioners while rolling out new medicine and emerging medical operations to the people at times opt to use randomized trials to test them on humans.  However, despite the advantage of them being unbiased due to randomization and the need to test these medicines on people these clinical trials usually pose serious problems.

One of the limitations of a clinical randomized trial is that it relies on experimental medicines and medical operations that may pose bad health problems to participants. This is caused by the fact that these trial medical operations may have different effects on laboratory animals compared to human beings, and as such may have fatal side effects on people, which may not be anticipated. In addition, these randomized trials lack qualified participants as some require healthy and others ailing patients. Moreover, some of the participants may fail to collaborate after taking part in these trials forcing search of other participants, hence wastage of resources and time.

Moreover, there is the limitation of personal choice in the conduct of RCTs, for instance, in cases of birth control methods and pills women have a choice of their method of preference. Furthermore, the trials may be rendered useless if the clinics involved in them fail to do effective follow-ups after the initial trial. In conclusion, RCTs are not always generalizable to the whole population and are imperfect as they at times contradict one another RCT despite being done in a similar environment (Reynolds). This is usually because trial results may be internally valid on the population sample used but fail to be effective or to have external validity to outside populations.
