For instance an assembly line manager who typically works on machines only requires technical skills and has nothing to do with conceptual skills. Whereas the top manager or the CEO of a firm need to possess high conceptual skills as he is responsible for all the critical decisions regarding the betterment of the company (Daft et al, 2010). However, the human or interpersonal skills must be engraved in all types of administrator irrespective of their designation.

Foremost function that all health care administrators must adopt to gain the managerial competency is to work more on enhancing their conceptual and interpersonal skills. This because health care individuals have to deal a lot with their patients and staff members. Similarly, at the same time they must have great conceptual skill as their work demands for it. They deal with such situations each day in which they had to make decisions on their own .
