"Cost, Quality, and Access in the U.S Health Care Delivery System" is a perfect example of a paper on the health system. U.S Health Care is a much-debated topic currently in the country. Citizens are afraid that they do not get adequate health care commensurate with what they part away with. The system gives the citizens a run of their money as a lot of money has been invested in the system. This is evident as many patients diagnosed with chronic diseases are not able to get enough services to control their conditions more efficiently (Shi & Singh, 2009).

One of the measures taken to control the cost of health care is ensuring that large populations of people are insured. This has seen firms ensuring their employees together with their family members. Charity health care providers have gone a long way to absorb those who are not insured. These efforts have steadily reduced cost. The question of quality now begs for an answer. Since the cost is now affordable, the country is not able to provide quality care for everyone because the numbers are high (Shi & Singh, 2009).

A new tool exists that aims at improving the quality and accessibility of proper health care. The Government has invested heavily in electronic health records to keep the history of each patient. This method will improve the accessibility of quality care from anywhere because the records are electronic. It will play a role in providing international care. However, this method is unfriendly to cost. However, the U.S health care system should emphasize and invest in preventive care. This will cut the cost of having to treat and maintain chronic diseases such as cancer. The delivery system should ensure that their health care providers are accountable to ensure quality service and avoid wastage to reduce cost (Shi & Singh, 2009).
