"The Interprofessional Health Care Team" is a perfect example of a paper on the health system. Different health professions have diverse cultures in which they conduct their operations on day to day basis. These cultures are developed as a result of the type of work carried out, beliefs customs, and also behaviors of employees from the past. Patients come to health professions with different needs which may not be handled singly by one profession. For instance, a patient suffering from malaria and mental disorder at the same is taken care of by two different types of health professionals that is a nurses and a psychiatrist. Therefore there is a need for these professions to work together for client satisfaction which is the main agenda of all health professions. In this essay, we shall define interprofessional teamwork, who can champion interprofessional team, staff relationships in the health industry, and roles that BHSA students can take part in to supplement their abilities in supervising licensed clinical health professionals.

Interprofessional teamwork is the collaboration of different health care professionals with different skills and qualifications to achieve a set target. When patient care is approached interprofessionally, there is an improvement in interprofessional relationships, increase in efficiency, and increase in patient health outcomes. (Forristal, 2007). A professional team may be championed by anyone from a medical doctor, nurses, and psychiatrist as long as the diversity makes them work together in realizing the patient’s goals. According to (Weiss, Morgan & Tilin, n.d.) each team is unique to an individual patient’s needs. Teamwork should be displayed when attending to the patients’ needs and as a professional team, you are not required to have goals your aim is to help the patient achieve their goals which are recovering. Nonclinical medical service administrators include biomedical technicians, human resource staff receptions, etc. their role is to act as support staff for professional teams. Nonclinical medical officers should have good communication and listening skills they should also pay attention to details.

Medical staff relations have transformed the health care industry to better its services for the wellbeing of the patient. A good relationship between the manager and the employee is a good motivation for a good working environment. Junior employees should free to interact with the managers and air their grievances to the management. Nurses for instance are a link between the doctors and the non-clinical health administrators. The nurse-nurse relationship is also important in creating a strong team for a sound working environment. There are misconceptions about Nonclinical health savings accounts (HAS) that: they are only for the healthy and wealthy, that HSAs lead consumers to avoid seeking care, and also HSAs are for short-term expenses but not long-term or rather retirement savings. These misconceptions about HSAs have instilled fear in the citizens with a low income in that they can’t invest in HSAs as they perceive it to be for the rich.

To supplement supervising licensed clinical health professionals, bachelor of health science administration students should spend most of their time around these clinical health professionals to gain experience and practical skills. Research is also necessary for them to understand the finer details of their field of specialization.
The Florida International University (FIU) College of Nursing & Health Sciences emphasizes ethical change management, interprofessional collaboration, leadership, informatics, and communication as suitable skills to strengthen the skill and acceptance of BHSA as supervisors and coordinators of clinical care.
To sum up, modern health care requires teamwork for the realization of patient goals. To achieve these, different health must work together to improve patient outcomes. To minimize the errors made in hospitals, these professionals must work together.
