Food processors, producers, consumers, and public health technicians are also taking part in training society on the importance of cleaning foods before preparing them to prevent the illnesses that may arise from the taking in of contaminated or chemically preserved foods. Also, society is advised on the importance of cleaning their hands before. The increased consumption of the preserved substances and the dietary supplements involving the herbals has resulted in questions regarding the safety of the natural foods that people are required to take, hence increasing the health issues in society and insecurity due to the intake of nutrients in large quantities.

Food safety involves the responsibilities of so many sectors including the social, science, economic and political regulations that work together towards ensuring that individuals and the food institutions maintain food hygiene as well as ensuring that shops only sell quality goods that are standardized as per the state rules, hence guaranteeing good health for the citizens. Lack of strong consideration towards these rules by these sectors may lead to hazards in the society involving allergens, environmental contaminants, and dietary supplements that the society is capable of fighting against.
