The former is the body's primary fluid, which is tasked with the transportation of oxygen, nutrients, carbon dioxide, and various other waste products to and from the cells. On the other hand, plasma is a component of blood that is yellow, and it accounts for 55% of all the blood within the body. Given that plasma is a component of blood, it conducts similar functions to those done by blood.

The latter refers to the immunity that an individual develops throughout their life, and it can be derived from exposure to a disease, a vaccine, or another individual’s antibodies.

A differential white blood cell count refers to a test conducted to determine the amount of each type of white blood cell that is found in the blood. A differential white blood cell count helps doctors identify whether a patient's symptoms are a result of high or low white blood cell levels.

Hematocrit can be used to determine if there is an infection. The test is conducted as a means of determining the proportion of blood that comprises red blood cells. Doing so helps screen for, monitor, and help diagnose various conditions that affect red blood cells.

The rising or falling of white blood cells count out of the healthy range is an indication of a medical condition such as immune deficiencies, blood disorders, and autoimmune diseases.
