Introduction

The U.S. health care system is made up of three main stakeholders. They include the public, the government parties and the healthcare facilities and professions. The goal is to ensure quality, affordable and accessible healthcare in the country for all citizens and individuals. One of the problems facing the industry is the high cost of operations in the country and funding methods. There are several legislations in the provision of healthcare services in the country with a view of improving the services. The Affordable Care Act is the ultimate solutions to the medical challenges facing the country. It is hence evident that the Affordable Care Act should be sustained for the operations since it is affordable, economical, and the best solutions for the crisis facing the country (Chattopadhyay, 2018). The report, in this case, supports sustaining the ACA in the country on the basis of costs, benefits and overall sustainability of the industry.

One of the vital benefits of why the ACA should be sustained is the tax credits associated with the act. The act offers citizens in the country as well as people with low income better terms of payments for the medical costs. For instance, the people whose income fall below 400% of the poverty have to spend limited amount. The limits include $7,150 out-of-pocket costs hence affordability in the country (Béland, Rocco, & Waddan, 2019). The cost for the family care is also reduced to $14,300 according to t the plan hence vital for the citizens in the country. There is an expansion of up to 138% of the federal poverty levels and better terms in the course of access to the services (Protection, & Act, 2010). There is also the inclusion of the tool and an option of cost comparison while in the course of seeking treatments. For instance, one can compare costs associated with medical fees, hospital charges and caregivers while in the course of treatment. There is also a simplified method of application and face-to-face communication hence credibility for the whole process in the registration.

There is also the benefit of the inclusion of a large number of people at lower costs in the country. For instance, parents can add children to 26 years of age in their medical plans. The inclusion of children aged up to 26 years hence is an excellent plan to cover more people in the country. There are hence lower costs for the parents and the policyholders. The citizens while have to pay lower premiums, making the policy vital. There is also the elimination of the Part D “doughnut hole” (Chattopadhyay, 2018). There is an inclusion of 55% more to the seniors in the form of discounts. The 55% discounts on drugs is a great benefit for the policyholders.

Still, there is 42% for prescription on generic drugs. Then, the befit to the business organizations is vital. According to the structure of the policy, firms with more than 50 employees should offer medical care for their individuals. There is the inclusion of the small business tax reductions on medical care in the country. The amount is up to 25% credit and employees can get uniform medical care and a 60-day advance for treatment and coverage. On the other hand, small business has to pay reduced amounts to $2,000 per individual, hence lower and $4,000 per family which is relatively low (Béland, Rocco, & Waddan, 2019). The affordability is a hence vital element in the course of service provision in healthcare. The goal is to ensure affordability and accessibility in the market.

There is also more focus on prevention approaches and quality care for the individuals in the country. The plan focuses on the insurance cover of up to 10 essential benefits for the policyholders in the country (Manchikanti, Benyamin, & Hirsch, 2017). Most of the care is based on preventive models which include domestic violence screening, maternity, chronic disease management and newborn care. There is also access to the emergence of care and treatment for the mothers and access to special services such as mammograms and colonoscopies. The model of prevention is hence vital since it will ensure better quality care and savings for the medical care funding in the country (Davis et al., 2010). There is also the treatment of vital conditions such as mental healthcare and addiction condition for the policyholders. If there is no treatment of such conditions, the outcome is homelessness and prison cases. The outcome will be higher costs for the federal government.

There is also a huge benefit on the structure of the allocation of the funds by the insurance companies in the country. The medical insurance companies have to allocate at least 85% of the total premiums to medical care and ensure sound access to the resources and funding without delays (Hirsch et al., 2018). There is hence prevention of delays on matters of payments for the medical bills in the case of emergencies and treatment in the country. According to the structure of the model and the treatment, the aim is to ensure the growth of quality care and elimination of the delays while in case of seeking treatment (Chattopadhyay, 2018). Still, the model of operations entails working with the National Prevention Council to boost on matters of promotion of a drug-free lifestyle. There is an allocation of $15 billion to the Prevention and Public Health Fund. The funds are vital in the course of ensuring quality lifestyle and elimination of the high costs of operations.

There is also the aspect of improvement of the workers and expansion of the working condition of the individuals in the healthcare industry. The ACA aims at reducing the causes of mortality rate and ensure the quality mental condition and health status in the country (Manchikanti, Benyamin, & Hirsch, 2017). There has been poor treatment on the above conditions for a long time in the country. According to the model of insurance policy, the ACA has led to more than 70 million Americas getting preventive care services at the lowest cost possible (Davis et al., 2010) The concept of cost-sharing is hence vital and workable in the country.

The provision of high treatment in the country has been attained through the program at lower costs. There is hence better management of the costs associated with the treatment and handling of the patients in the country. The improvement of financial security in the course of illness has been a vital role in the ACA (Huntington et al., 2011). There is hence a reduction of the costs for all policyholders and less worry for the individuals. Data shows that more than 7.3 million individuals have had affordable care in the country without much struggle for treatment.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the sustaining of the ACA is vital since it has proven vital for the management of healthcare conditions and operations in the country. The concept of cost-sharing is hence vital and workable in the country. The provision of high treatment in the country has been attained through the program at lower costs. According to the structure of the model and the treatment, the aim is to ensure the growth of quality care and elimination of the delays while in case of seeking treatment. There are hence lower costs for the parents and the policyholders. The citizens while have to pay lower premiums, making the policy vital.
