The interviews were implementing the perceptions and experiences of twelve developing adolescents with brothers having autism spectrum disorder. The eligibility for criteria in the study was not specific because the quantitative research can assist in understanding variables that affect sibling relationships but do little to inform how siblings make sense when their brother or sister has autism spectrum disorder. Participants for this study were facilitated by a local parent group, a local school for children with an autism spectrum disorder, an advertisement in a local newspaper in the United Kingdom, and a local branch of a national disability charity.

The recruitment strategy yield information rich in participants because the proper analysis was done to the results. This leads to compatible information according to the theoretical framework in the research.

Information needs of the study

There should be adequate information so that the study should maintain the context of the theoretical framework. Elements of qualitative traditions are there due to nonrandom methods used and the concept of making decisions during data collection.

The appropriate sampling approach is convenience where volunteer samples are used when the researchers want the participants to facilitate the process in the study.

Is the sample size adequate? 

The sample size is adequate as the information from the sample is appropriate to facilitate the study. The researcher never indicated the concept of saturation as the optimum point was not reached due to a delay in the results. Discussion

The findings in this study offer the awareness of the experiences of having a brother with an autism spectrum disorder in the sage of adolescence. Focusing on the results of this study entails three issues that are vital in the autism spectrum disorder (Lubetsky, Handen & McGonigle, 2011). The issues are similarities in the siblings, implications that the children have, and the difference in experiences.
