"Intervention Plan for Sleep Health in Adults" is a marvelous example of a paper on wellness and lifestyle.
Around 30 percent of young people experience sleeping problems because of a busy schedule that develops a pessimistic influence on their health conditions. DeGangi suggests that excess 6 hours of sleep in adults cause various diseases like diabetes and heart diseases, among other illnesses that involve complications in the heart (DeGangi, 2012). However, people might face problems during sleep because of various reasons like noise, medical illness, and stress-related issues. Besides, lack of sleep cause distress in the performance of young people in their workplaces as well as performance in studies in the case of students. The problem hence arises as a state concern since the young people form part of the future essential human resources.

Shaw, Tafti, and Thorpy (2013) suggest that sleep disorders affect the health conditions of males and females together with children. Therefore, one of the vital interventions plans in reducing sleep among different people is the need to take adequate rest. Adequate rest entails sleeping efficiently since it improves the quality of well-being. Moreover, Family Nurse Practitioners (FNP) need to encourage and support individuals to sleep for 6 hours at night. The 6 hours of sleep helps in assuring freshness and activeness on the following day. Consequently, different people especially adults need to develop habits of sleeping correctly and taking frequent rests in ensuring greater well-being and improvements in health status (DeGangi, 2012).

Description and Evaluation of Intended Outcomes

Sleep health problems among adults between the ages of 18- 45years cause high-risk diseases such as diabetes and hypertension that occur because of oversleeping among adults. Kothare and Kotagal (2011) argue that adolescents among adults influence and pose unique experiences of sleep among grownups. Furthermore, differences in sleep-related experiences among adults persist in psychological as well as developmental aspects that raise the possibility of unfavorable conditions. In evaluating and improving sleep health among adults, FNP needs to take up the role of advising and encouraging adults to take 6 hours’ sleep rest. Taking rest reduces risks of health sciences and improves the efficiency of individual health (Kothare, & Kotagal, 2011).

Evaluation plan

Evaluation plan to regulate sleep problems among adults involves the development of health care models (Raingruber, 2014). The models evaluate and assist adults to make concrete decisions on issues of health. Moreover, clarification of how much time is necessary for adults to rest or sleep entails in the models. Strict following of the models by adults with sleeping problems will assist them in making greater improvements with their individual health. Moreover, using different tools such as alarm clocks for waking up will help adults in reducing their sleeping habits effectively for quality health.

Reading of health magazines among adults, assist in obtaining comprehensive knowledge about how much sleep is required for adults in a day. Sound sleep allows adults to feel fresh and perform their respective works efficiently on the next day (Raingruber, 2014). FNP argue that identifying various health models provides a quality level of training and counseling to the patients regarding how they can improve their quality of health.
