Stem cell therapy is believed to be one of the best discovery in health science as physicians’ states that it can heal most of the incurable diseases. The International Society for Stem Cell Research [ISSCR] has not confirmed this discovery since the only recognized type of stem cell therapy involves the extraction of bone mallow. India has for the past four or three years been known to practice stem cell therapy to its patients where some of the physicians claim that stem cell therapy is a better treatment compared to other treatments thus they do it out of moral obligation to the patients. This essay aims at exploring the main reason behind India’s hospitals performing more stem cell therapies in relation to other countries.

Profitability

The process of offering legalized stem cell therapy is very expensive and most of India’s health care has not been approved to provide the services. The bio-networking form used by many Indian health providers ensures that they use this connection to market their services to desperate patients. In research on experimental stem cell therapy and patient recruitment in India proved that the method used by Indian’s physicians is immoral to the patients as the connection helps advertise their services, whereas their receptionist use trickery means to exploit the desperate patients and their relatives while pretending to care more of the patient’s whereabouts (Kumar Patra & Sleeboom-Faulkner, 2009).

The research provides an example of a conversation between a health care coordinator and a client where the coordinator takes advantage of the circumstances of the client by ensuring that their success rate in stem cell therapy is 75% in cases of spinal injury. The coordinator will set arrangements to ensure that the client will not be charged, highly since he has already used so much money in other health care centers (Kumar Patra & Sleeboom-Faulkner, 2009).

The research shows that most of the patients who undergo stem cell therapy are in high or middle-class status since the process is expensive, whereas in their advertisements the Indian’s physicians claim that stem cell therapy is offered to the poor (Leivine, 2008). The bio-networking used by these hospitals are all over India and other developing countries where they recommend patients visit certain health care centers for a kidney transplant and other incurable diseases at cheap prices, whereas the number of stem cell therapy makes it possible for the health centers to loot from these unsuspecting patients. Since the health centers have not installed the expensive requirements by the ISSCR, they are able to make supernormal profits for stem cell therapies (Kumar Patra & Sleeboom-Faulkner, 2009).

The Need for Health Discovery Supremacy

The essence that there are various small health centers that are providing stem cell therapies to enrich themselves makes it hard to identify the main motivation for India’s increment in the provision of stem cell therapy (Leivine, 2008). Other hospitals have used their connections with other states like the US and UK to ensure that they have the professionalism to discover the best way to use stem cell therapy in treatments. These hospitals invest a lot of capital in the researches and their main aim is to be recognized and taken seriously medically and scientifically.

It is to our conclusion that there are illegality and improper use of stem cell therapy in hospitals who want to enrich themselves, but it is also clear that some of the hospitals are trying their best to ensure they get to the root of ways to handle stem cell therapy for the benefit of the world’s population.
