Health is crucial to any given population since it is from these services that people can be given medical attention to get rid of the disease and maintain a healthy lifestyle. People need to be educated on health care issues to ensure they are known to lead healthy lives. The state of Arizona is established efficiently when it comes to health care facilities and emergency preparedness (Kollek, 2012). The state has well-equipped health care facilities that offer quality services to the population in the state. They are conveniently located across the state to ensure people can access them with ease. That notwithstanding, the health care practitioners who are tasked in offering services at the health institutions have the prerequisite skills that are required in offering holistic health care services to the clients.

Moreover, they are trained to handle patients efficiently to ensure they give them quality services that incorporate professionalism. Professionalism is a crucial element in the health care sector; medical practitioners are trained in a manner they are supposed to offer quality services while maintaining work ethics (Kollek, 2012). This is important since health care is a crucial sector that requires a very high degree of accountability and accuracy from the medics because dealing with peoples’ lives is a delicate affair, which requires professionalism and works ethics. Moreover, patients entrust medical practitioners to safeguard their lives and cure them of any ailments that they may be suffering from, thus those practitioners need to uphold morals and ethics in the process of offering services to the clients. The state of Arizona through the department of health care services has established a code of conduct that governs medical practice in the state to ensure accountability and quality are maintained as clients receive holistic medical services (Kollek, 2012).

The health sector in the state has an emergency response department that responds to any form of emergency incidents in the state. The department is well equipped with equipment together with a team of dedicated individuals who work round the clock to ensure the lives of the residents are secured in case of any emergency situations. The response teams are strategically located at designated points to ensure a timely response to an emergency case, which occurs within the state and its environs (Kollek, 2012). The team educates the general public regularly on matters concerning emergency while giving them information on mitigation techniques that they need to employ to avoid some accidents from taking place. Civic education also includes mock accidents and fire drills to test the peoples’ preparedness and response to emergencies (Joint Commission Resources, 2002). Emergency lessons have been introduced in the state’s schools to equip learners with knowledge concerning how to respond to an emergency case and techniques of offering first aid in the event of accidents. Emergency response groups also recruit students and train them to be fire marshals or first aiders to assist in responding to an emergency case that may occur within the school vicinity (Joint Commission Resources, 2002).

In pursuit of ensuring the population in the state is healthy and free from any form of the disease, the health sector has established home care services where health practitioners visit homesteads occasionally to advise the occupants on the best ways to healthy living through educating them on the healthy diets that they are supposed to maintain to ensure they don’t contract diseases as a result of bad eating habits (Kollek, 2012). They also educate people on home hygiene and how to maintain their surroundings to ensure it is free from any form of bacteria which may lead to diseases. The state of Arizona is well managed in as far as health and health care is concerned and the authorities have put in place relevant policies to ensure its people are living in a healthy environment free from diseases (Kollek, 2012).
