'Health Benefits of Exercising' is a good example of a paper on fitness and exercise.
Exercise is a very important life factor because it is packed with numerous benefits that help keep the body healthy if not in shape. According to the Harvard school of public health regular exercise enables the body to function better by keeping diseases ashore and helping the body maintain its shape by losing weight (Wingerd, 2013).  In fact, most studies have proved exercise to be a disease preventive mechanism that is as effective as medication only that it is less costly and more fun. It is only fair to look at the basic health benefits of exercise like weight control, preventing diseases, enhancing mood, boosting body energy only but to name a few.

Exercise is paramount to weight control which is vital to the human body because it reduces the chances of being underweight, overweight, or obese which can cause various health risks. Exercise comes in handy because it helps with the regulation of the body weight through physical body activity, for instance walking for at least two hours a day will enable u to burn calories that help control the body shape hence keeping the body in check and fresh. Less exercise means the body is dormant and stores more fat which can cause various health risks like heart attacks (Wingerd, 2013).

Diseases and health conditions can also be very challenging to the human body but exercising counters that by enhancing the body's biological and chemical processes that help with the immune system. Exercise can help prevent various diseases like diabetes, heart or cardiovascular diseases, strokes, some cancer types among a number of other diseases (Homan & Tylka, 2014). The trick is that a moderate body activity helps the body produce a protein called ‘good’ protein that helps the blood to be immune. Exercise helps the blood flow much efficiently to the various body parts hence ensuring the body functions optimally in keeping foreign organisms at bay.

Exercise helps improve mood or what could be referred to as an emotional lift. Various biological explanations have been given to explain this fact but in lay terms, it simply entails the process of generating chemical constituents that stimulate the brain part that is in charge of creating good mood and happiness (Homan & Tylka, 2014). The mood factor comes in with appreciation and self-confidence that results when in good body shape that exercise plays a part in.

Children have been proved to possess high energy levels because of their high-intensity physical activity that is generated by playing. This can be the easiest way to prove that exercise is very vital to boosting overall body energy levels. Most adults become dormant in regard to physical activity and their health system starts to deteriorate and hence being susceptible to all manner of health conditions (Wingerd, 2013).  Exercise also helps build muscle strength hence being able to function optimally in a day.

Health benefits related to exercises are many and very important to the human body. It is therefore advisable to engage the body in physical activity that can help keep health conditions away, improve good moods, increase confidence, and boost energy levels for optimum body functions. Exercise a day keeps the doctor away!
