Sexually Transmitted Disease al affiliation: Sexually Transmitted Disease Introduction Gonorrhea has been known to be a common disease in ourcommunity, and is highly spread through sex and has been classified as a Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD). Gonorrhea studies have been carried out, and research indicate that is caused by bacteria. Further research indicates that, the bacteria have been scientifically known as Neisseria gonorrhoeae.Among individuals from diverse communities, Gonorrhea has been sometimes considered to be known as the clap. Signs and symptoms of Gonorrhea are not easy to depict, causing a significant concern in the society. However, relevant measures have to be implemented in the society to ensure that spread of Gonorrhea among individuals has been reduced to a greater extent. This will help in ensuring that production of individuals based on diverse fields aimed at improving processes involved in growth and development of the nation are attained. Infection Gonorrhea is considered to be an STD, which infects the urethra, rectum, vagina, penis, and cervix. However, in some cases, it has also been known to infect the throat. This clearly illustrates that an individual suffering from Gonorrhea has high risks of experiencing pain that can influence the operations undertaken in diverse fields during the day. Research indicates that it has been an issue of concern to the society, relative to Gonorrhea infection among individuals from diverse communities. This is based on the concept that, Gonorrheahave no specified signs and symptoms, which can be used to identify with it. Therefore, individuals can get infected easily with Gonorrhea without knowing, and even suffer some of its consequences without realizing the main factor behind the health issues that they are facing (Michaud, 2006). Symptoms Based on research and analysis, it has been noted that individuals suffering from Gonorrhea do not realize that they are suffering at a tender stage. This is based on the concept that, Gonorrhea infection can only be realized after one or two weeks of infection. This is only applicable to a case where Gonorrhea symptoms have beennoted to occur. Otherwise, the signs and symptoms of Gonorrhea have been an issue of concern to the medical sections in various nations. The health care centers have tried to come up with measures that can be used to know if an individual has been infected with Gonorrhea. However, this has become a challenge because most of the signs can only occur in some cases, and show at later stages in other cases. Therefore, more research is being carried out on various issues related to Gonorrhea, as well as its signs and symptoms(Neinstein, 2008). Some of these symptoms include men experiencing itching inside the penis, discharge and even burning when urinating. Some may even experience swollen and painful testicles. However, these are some of the symptoms as researchers continue to work on more signs that can occur. On the other had, women can be found to experience pain while urinating, stomach pain, bleeding after sex or between periods. In some cases, some women have complained of experiencing pain during sex. These symptoms seem to influence most of the activities that are carried by different individuals in the society (Rogers, 2013). Gonorrhea impacts of the rectum or throat may cause an pain and itching effects in the rectum. It can also lead to sore throat being experienced by an individual who has been infected. This has been analyzed and found to influence the lifestyle of individuals, since most of them have been forced to change the food type that they consume. Transmission Analysis that has been carried out, indicate that Gonorrhea is widely spread through oral, anal or vaginal sex that is not protected with a partner who is already infected. This has been found to be the case even if the infected partner has no signs and symptoms indicating that they are infected (Rogers, 2013). In some cases, it has been found that Gonorrhea transmission does not necessarily involve ejaculation. This is based on the idea that, a mother can be found to pass the disease to her baby at the time of birth. This indicates that an infected mother can lead to the baby being infected. Treatment An antibiotic provided on a single dosage has been known to be a cure for Gonorrhea. This antibiotic can be swallowed through the mouth. However, there are instances where an injection has been proved to be more effective. Therefore, based on the complexity of the situation, a health care worker will decide on which method to use on a patient (Robinson, 1917). Gonorrhea and Chlamydia have been found in diverse instances to occur at the same time. Therefore, an individual being cure with Gonorrhea can also be treated for both diseases, for a sure cure. Research also indicates that not all antibiotics can be effective in curing Gonorrhea. Therefore, the health carte workers should prescribe the right antibiotics that should be used by an individual (Neinstein, 2008). Conclusion Gonorrhea has been found to be an issue of concern in diverse communities and nations. This is based on the notion that, the signs and symptoms of Gonorrhea cannot be identified at early stages and can cause harmful effects to an individual’s health. Therefore, measures have been implemented by diverse health care centers to ensure that there are schemes that can help in ensuring that early treatment has been provided to individual infected with Gonorrhea. Individuals from diverse communities should also be educated on transmission methods of Gonorrhea, since it has been widely known that it is an STD. Therefore, educational programmes should be aimed at ensuring that individuals have understood the methods as well as the impact of Gonorrhea to an individual’s health and the society at large. This will help in ensuring that instances where individuals have been infected with Gonorrhea in the society have been immensely reduced, which will help in improving most operations aimed at nation development. Individuals from diverse communities have been found to contribute to the various processes undertaken in the nation. Therefore, instances where individual’s health in the society has been compromised means that the production levels of the organizations will be reduced. This will also slow down processes involved in growth and development of the nation as well as the living standards of individuals from diverse communities. Measures should be implemented to ensure that individuals are able to carry out their operations successfully without failing the society. This can only be attained if educational measures are implemented by the government of a nation, on how to improve relationship status of individuals from diverse communities. References Michaud, C.
