"Differences between Nerve Impulse Conduction and Chemical Synaptic Transmission" is a great example of a paper on the musculoskeletal system. Regular exercise promotes the production of new blood cells to the skin preserving beautiful skin. It also moderates inflammation and helps injuries on the integumentary system to repair fast.
  • Bone

Exercises improve the strength of the connective tissues making the bones strong. Strong bones are less prone to injury and bone diseases like osteoporosis. Regular movement in exercising increases the flexibility of the joints in the body.

  • Muscular

Physical exercise strengthens the muscles, leading to greater muscle definition and enhanced appearance. Muscle strands grow and blood vessels develop. This leads to efficient blood flow and metabolic waste elimination.

  • Nervous system

The nerve trail in the nervous system opens up when one exercise. This helps nerve signals transfer in the body.

Part 2 Describe how energy is transformed/released and used during muscle activity

            During muscle activity, energy comes from ATP which is stored up in very little quantities. To regenerate more ATP, the food molecules in the body are broken down and combine with an inorganic compound ADP in a chemical reaction. The energy produced is used up to replenish ATP and increase oxygen supply in the body.

Part 3 Describe the sequence of events that occur to allow for knee flexion

            During knee flexion, the command is initiated when a flexor muscle contracts and produces flexion. This pulls in the knee towards the body. It is followed by an antigravity action where the extensor muscle contracts. This leads to the extensor muscle pushing out the knee from the body.

Part 4 Describe two similarities and two differences between nerve impulse conduction and chemical synaptic transmission

They both transmit information through nerve fibers and dendrites. The structures between an axon and a muscle fiber and that between an axon and nerve impulse are similar.  Conduction of the nerve impulse along the neurons cannot cause fatigue while the synapse may fail to stimulate the postsynaptic membrane resulting in fatigue. The synapse works as a one-way valve while nerve impulses can be conducted in both the neurosecretion and chemoreception.
