Mental disability is an aspect of social isolation according to Smyer & Qualls (2007) as Ms. Fisher being 82 in terms of age is prone to mental diagnostics leading to mental disabilities. Personal grief is a social problem that leads to depression. This is because Ms. Fisher is old and ailing, is lonely since the daughter stays far from her. She has yielded to personal grief, and consequently depression.

Medical interventions
