It helps the managers and other users of the system in an organization to digest and have a common and similar understanding of the any event in the organization. MIS demands a systemization of business operations for the provision of an effective system design which leads to the streamlining of the operations which can complicate the system design. It makes the administration of a business better by improving it and bringing discipline and accuracy in its operations. Management Information System dictates that every individual in an organization is required to follow and use the system and its procedures. This process in return, brings a high degree of professionalism in an organization’s business functions and operations. The main objective of Management Information System within the company is the product of business goals and objectives. These goals and objectives help directly in guiding an organization in the same direction and mainly towards its corporate goals and objectives through the provision of necessary and relevant information to the people in the organization at large. A perfectly designed system which focuses on the manager has a great impact on managerial efficiency. The support that the information provides motivates and enlightens managers to use a variety of management tools. It helps the manager to sometimes resort in activities like experimentation and modeling (Zhang, Galletta, 2006). The use of computers in Management Information System in LG Corporation enables a manager in using the various tools and techniques of management which are impossible to use manually. The use of ready-made packages makes a manger’s work more easy, efficient and simpler. It also makes him perform his duties quickly and he ends up saving a lot of time. The impact of the use of Management information System is on the managerial ability to perform which considerably improves the ability of quick decision making. Organization decision making process includes both individual and group activities which include problem identification, searching for the information, analysis and evaluation of the information and lastly and the most important is the implementation of the decision or action. Decision making activities in an organization occurs in a structure of managerial roles and responsibilities. Conclusion Management information systems’ ability to store information enables LG Corporation not to simply rely on the unreliability of human error and mistakes. With the proper use of the system, information can be stored, retrieved and disseminated more easily, accurately and effectively. However, information technology can be challenging especially when it leads to information overload. Having an information overload in a company dictates that the manager has to go through an insuperable amount of data that is stored and this will consume time and hinders timely decision making (Bagad, 2009). Information overload is more of a documentation problem than it is an information technology problem. References Bagad, V, S, (2009).
