People are given the freedom to make personal conclusions of what has been relayed to them. On the contrary, persuasive presentation is meant to convince the audience towards a certain point of view being articulated by the presenter. A perfect example of persuasive presentation is when political analysts try to defend decisions made by their respective parties to the audience while informative presentation can be seen in health-related programs like the need for adopting effective childbirth procedures. B3: National Geographic is a TV program that relays information mainly through visual communications. It is mostly wild animals at their natural habitats hunting or even taking care of their young ones. The program has minimal dialogues as audiences are allowed to analyze behaviors. WWE is a sports program that also uses visuals where most of the content being broadcasted is wrestling by the participants. There is also some of dialogue but it is kept to the minimal. B 6: In my lifetime, I have witnessed the larger society discriminating against women on the basis of their gender so that they cannot be entrusted with high managerial positions in corporations or even government establishments. However, the scenario continues to change as even right now we have a female presidential candidate in the White House occupation race. This is likely happening because people have been informed and convinced that women are also likely good leaders. It gives people a false of belonging as those who wear it are likened to popular celebrities. I would rather focus the commercial of this product on such important aspects as its durability and price affordability in order to increase potential buyers. B9: In my opinion, I think that discontinuance challenge is far much difficult since it purposely seeks to stop people from conducting activities that are already used to. It cuts down on people’s daily habits making it a huge task to stop. On the contrary, deterrence challenge focuses on halting people from doing certain things that they have never done before hence a bit easier. A perfect example is when intensive initiatives are introduced to schools to stop students from engaging in drugs. This action is deemed to be deterring in nature and its easier while same program being done in a rehabilitation center is perceived to a discontinuance one as it is hard for once drugs abusers to stop engaging in it altogether. B10: Off course, I have managed through the basic phases of the hierarchical needs and in the past two or three-years; I have been working on my self-esteem needs. I am now working to be a respectable member of the society as I have learnt through being a foreign student that the challenges of operating in different environments. The process of ensuring to meet this need is a bit hard and competitive but I am making sure that I rise to the occasion and prepare myself for self-actualization need in the next couple of years. B15: I tend to put much value on time and do what is necessary first before wasting away time on not-important stuff. Right now, I am more focused on completing my studies successfully and that is what matters to me.
