This paper aims at determining the application of strategic evaluation tools in the Ministry of Interior (MOI) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The achievement of such an aim relied on the review of the previously studied literature regarding strategy and implementation. The paper focused on publications to gain a firm literature background. Similarly, the project concentrated on some theories which inform the knowledge existing regarding the effectiveness of strategic tools. The research sought to use semi-structured questions that were administered through the face-to-face method. The means of the telephone also became necessary as a means of reaching other respondents. Further, the paper relied on a qualitative research approach and narrowed down to the use of NVivo10 software for purposes of data analysis.

The results showed that the ministry suffered from consistent operational lacuna due to a lack of sufficient strategic evaluation tools within the regulatory body. The paper, therefore, fronted the most useful strategic assessment tools for the ministry as a means of achieving continuity of internal operations. The results obtained in this research remain greatly significant to the department and future research studies.
