Abstract The research which focuses on the different dimensions of performance measurement system has looked towards using 5 research paper which highlights the manner in which business will be able to develop and grow through development of performance measurement system. The research focuses mostly on the operational aspect of organization and highlights the manner in which the different dimensions of performance measurement system will bring operational efficiency and help the business to keep in tune with the evolving changes. This will help to bring about a complete change and transformation through which better results will be achieved and the business will be able to find out the dimensions through which better results is achieved. Introduction This paper looks to provide a literature review from 5 different sources highlighting what the different literature review provides regarding performance measurement, the different assumptions which are present, the things which are common on the different themes and the research is based on whose perspective. This will thereby help to provide better impetus and inputs based on which better research can be carried out and useful guidance can be provided for the future Literature Review The research looks to carry out a literature review for 5 different articles and the details are as follows Striteska, M. & Spickova, M. 2012. Review & Comparison of Performance Management System. Journal of Organizational Management Studies, 1 – 13 The research which was carried out with the objective of finding out the manner in which performance measurement system is developed in organizations and the different changes which are included in it. The research was based on the assumption that it was carried out on the basis of past literature review and researches which shows that the research mainly relied on past data. In addition to it the research also further looks at finding out the strengths and weakness of different performance measurement system and models so that a conceptual model for performance measurement can be developed. It was identified from the research that each performance measurement model provides basic framework and is conceptually clear but doesn’t provide a unique model for each organization. This requires that the model needs to be developed based on the needs and requirements of the organization and the model which has been developed and designed will be unique based on the different needs of the organization. This requires proper research at the operational level so that a model which will help to find out the manner in which performance measurement system can be developed is found out. This will help to improve the overall relevance and reliability of the research and will highlight better information. The research was further carried out from the perspective of the organization and looked at developing and finding out a model which will help to develop the required parameters through which better performance measurement becomes possible.
