Career Development Plan
1. Career Plan
My short-term ambitions are; to earn a license in driving in the next six months by enrolling in a driving school available in town at a cost of $300, to obtain a certificate in computer applications from a computer training college within the next 12 months at $450. I have ambitions to pursue a bachelor degree in public relations management at the university in the long-term. I will need to earn the degree certificate within four academic years at a cost of $5,000 at a local university. I will later aspire to get employed in the next six years in a public relations role in leading institutions in the country. To achieve these objectives I will need to have excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, analytical skills and service quality dimensions. I will also aspire to obtain an award in hospitality and quality service from my work in the next nine years. I will need to achieve good grades (at least second upper class) at the university to increase my prospects of a good job. All my work will be taken seriously right from assessment tests, discussions to end of semester examinations. I am energetic but not overenthusiastic. I love privacy and being in groups. I would wish to be travelling across continents attending business conferences and seminars regarding corporate social responsibility and business ethics within the next ten years. The research results show that I am generally easy to deal with and relatively flexible (Morem & Schutt 54).

On average, I am open to both the extroverts and the reserved.
On ‘Conscientiousness’, I am also above average. My affairs are reasonably well organized. Without being too prudent, I take a systematic approach. I find it easy to establish a balance between private life and my work. I achieve impressive results to a little effort. It is not my nature to strive for perfection. I act to attain certain goals but willing to compromise. I am flexible and effective since people consider me to be a pleasant person or colleague. In general, I get along well with people who prefer neatness and order if they are not such persistent.

Research Documents
Personality traits that can be measured use questionnaires. Test developers and psychologists have brought out more than fifty traits which are derived from five major personality traits; Extraversion, Conscientiousness, Agreeableness, Emotional Stability, and Openness (Raelin 63). The questionnaires are filled by an individual by inputting age, gender, country and level of education. The measurement scales for the questions range from inaccurate (--), moderately inaccurate (-), neutral (-/+), moderately accurate (+) and very accurate (++). The key research document will be the questionnaire (Kroth & Christensen 123). The scores for four of the five scales were average, hence no combinations supplied meaningful or additional information. My personality is highly balanced which means that I feel at ease with circumstances and pleasant which is a great asset. The research results show that I am generally easy to deal with and relatively flexible (Rothwell 85). People having extreme scores present specific demands on own environment and thus feel uneasy in many circumstances. I am not troubled at that because I have a more balanced personality.
The personality tests have been scientifically validated and reliably measured. It is fast, free and reliable. It accurately calculates the personality scores to test though the tests are long than usual. It takes an estimated ten minutes to complete (Lentz et al 78). The test have produced stunning personality traits essential to career counselors, psychologists and other professionals. The measurement scale ranges from inaccurate (--) to very accurate (++).
