The paper "Auditing in School Management" is an excellent example of a management essay. In many schools in my district, we find that the management team has always been creating an integration of a partnership that is formal between the external auditors and the internal audit team. In this case, each party actually contributes to experiences, skills, and complementary knowledge. This is normally done in many of these schools as a means of cost-cutting. It also helps the institutions to upgrade their capabilities within the school.

It also plays a big role in increasing responsiveness and efficiency within the institution. (Ray, 1997) Regardless of who carries out the internal or external auditing in the school organization, it has to be done in accord with standards in the institutional field. This noble task needs professionally competent staff to accomplish it. This has proved to be actually an effective venture that helps schools’ management to practice auditing services efficiently. This normally contributes to the management of an organization’s strategic objectives.

(Odden, and Picus, 2008) We also find that this auditing has helped many schools in my district to create operational effectiveness and efficiency especially in the areas that the institution is exposed to great risks. This is also beneficial to the school as they are helped to comply with approved policies, institutional best practices, procedures, and regulatory requirements. This is whereby the methodology incorporated focuses on the elimination of risks. This is usually done by the use of a risk assessment process that is fundamental in internal auditing.

This allows institutions to carry out self-assessments. Internal auditing in the schools has various advantages this includes minimizing corruption therein. It plays a big role in increasing effectiveness within the school management. Research shows that outsourcing internal auditing in schools enhances accountability within the learning organizations. It is found to be time-saving and quite cost-effective when well managed. (Ray, 1997) This venture also has its disadvantages to the schools. Outsourcing involves external experts which creates an avenue for them to access confidential information within Companies.

This increases insecurity therein. Research shows that this venture is quite challenging especially in the area of incorporating decentralized budgets. In most cases, it plays a role in demoralizing employees especially when they are highly qualified and competent to carry out internal auditing within the organization. (Odden, and Picus, 2008) Internal auditing has various advantages like minimizing corruption, saving costs and time. Disadvantages to outsourcing are that it creates avenues for insecurity and plays a role in demoralizing school employees.

All in all the benefits of carrying out the internal auditing surpass the limitations.
