Most of the world's leading companies find themselves well-performing in the stable and well-performing organizational structures they have at the top. Other companies perform poorly and fail to meet their goals, due to a lack of an organized organizational structure at their top leadership.

The best strategic analysis tool that I recommend in this case is PEST Analysis. This tool entails looking at the factors that may influence the company’s performance, and they include political, economic, social, and technological factors (Karadag, 2015). In the case of political factors, the company has to look at the tax, policies, labor law, tariffs, and political stability among others.

In the case of economic factors, the company has to consider economic growth, interest rates, exchange rates, and the inflation rate since they impact how businesses operate and reach their decisions. Social factors entail the cultural dimensions, consisting of population growth rate, career attitudes, and emphasis on safety. Finally, technological factors involve environmental aspects such as automation, technology incentives, and dynamism in technology. The best solution is for the company to study the prevailing taxation policies in the country so that it can identify whether it’s spending a lot in paying taxes (Karadag, 2015).

Another solution is for the company to determine the trade restrictions that are in place and find out if some tend to favor its operations. I recommend that the company, try as much as possible to fix itself in the regional market, if there exist some trade restrictions favoring its activities. Finally, the company should study the prevailing market and come up with an implementation, control, and evaluation plan to meet the demand of the identified market. Second CaseThe second case is where Pixar, the studio company owned by the Walt Disney Company, had failed to obtain a single nomination from the previously given out awards.

The company has undergone a lot of setbacks from this case since Pixar had won five trophies the previous year. Strategic Analysis ToolFor this case too, I am going to advise for the use of PEST Analysis. The company has to look deeply at the political factors, and the major one is the prevailing labor law. Secondly, it has to consider social factors such as career attitudes, emphasis on safety, and trends in social factors. Finally, the company will have to consider the technological factors, entailing the R&D activity, technological incentives, and the dynamism of technology.

Under the labor law, the organization needs to know the existing wage rate in the economy. With the knowledge of this, it will get in a position to identify if it is paying its employees fairly or not (Karadag, 2015). I hereby recommend that it gives allowances and other employee packages for those working in the studio since they will get motivated towards their different duties. By establishing the career attitudes of its employees, the studio should conduct employee reallocation where possible, to their various fields of interest.

The studio has to understand the current trends in social factors such as fashion and come up with films among other theater activities that meet the prevailing tests. After identifying the technological incentives and the rate of technological change the firm needs to determine the best theater instruments, among other tools that will help improve the quality of their studio and stage performances.
