Internal customers are directly associated to the company. The internal customers are the shareholders, board of directors and employees. On the other hand, external customers have the choices to make the decision related to the products and/or services. The external customers are the ones who consume the final products manufactured. The external customers consume goods and/or services on the basis their requirements and needs. Both the customers are important for the development of the company. Quality is one of the major elements, which helps the customers to make the decision about the product and/or services and it also meet the needs of the customers. Therefore, Tatweer Petroleum focuses on strategies to maintain quality and uses advanced technology to satisfy the demand of internal as well as external customers. In this respect, quality is important for internal customers with the aim of enhancing different aspects that include morale, communication, productivity and operational alignment. Similarly, quality is vital for external employees, as they are able to consume products based on their preferences, which in turn ensure better returns and brand value for the company. Subsequently, the company is able to maintain a healthy relationship between stakeholders and accordingly, an effective workplace environment can be maintained (Tatweer Petroleum, 2015; Lin, 2010). Total Quality Management Quality is the degree through which the features of the products meet the present values. In the present day scenario, ‘total quality management’ (TQM) has received worldwide attention and several industries adopted TQM mostly in the developed countries to provide products and/or services in accordance with the needs of the customers. It is important for the progress and improvement in the areas of cost, quality reliability, innovative efficiency and effectiveness of a business. Presently, every organisation follow as well as implement TQM program for the enhancement of the quality of the products, satisfy the demand of the customers and the development of an organisation (Willey, 2015). Difference between Design Quality Standards and Process Quality Standards Quality management is considered as the function, which is used to confirm the products and the operation of a business to meet certain standards or values. The design quality standards and the process quality standards have several major differences. Design quality focuses on the responsibility of an individual in an organisation, who examines the goods and/or services, so that employees are able to meet the standards of an organisation. On the other hand, process quality standards stress on the operational managers who are responsible for the production department of an organisation. The policies of the design quality focus on the resources, which are required to generate the products, whereas the policies of the process quality focus on individuals of an organisation (Gosset, 2015). Cost of Quality in Tatweer Petroleum Cost of quality means the computed cost related to the effort as well as the deficiencies. From tradition, the basic perception was that higher costs are associated with higher quality and lower costs are based on lower quality. Tatweer Petroleum is one of the developed companies, which has the unique knowledge as well as experience and expertise. The objective of this company is to increase the production of oil and gas to meet the future demands for Bahrain. This company has improved the production as well as quality. This company focuses on the cost of quality for the enhancement of the value and the effectiveness of the business (Tatweer Petroleum, 2015). The Process of Delivering Quality in the Workplace Quality Systems Used in Tatweer Petroleum Tatweer Petroleum is a popular oil and gas company in Bahrain. The company emphasises the quality of the goods as well as services with the application of effective strategies and advanced technologies to develop the quality and improve the production process. In this respect, the company uses latest technologies to develop in the field of oil and gas industry of Bahrain to increase the value of the shareholders and enhance the economy growth of the company. The goal of the maintenance program of the company is to improve the mechanical reliability, dependability and safety of the field assets for better service and delivery of oil and gas (Tatweer Petroleum, 2015). Quality Standards for the Tatweer Petroleum Quality standards or quality values are important for Tatweer Petroleum for the development and financial progress of the company. A quality standard is a system, which defines proper maintenance of the quality of the goods and services to meet the future standards of the company. The company focuses on quality control as well as quality standards for the development of a healthy workplace, where the employees are able to communicate and conduct their assigned tasks in a cooperative manner. The company also deals with the technical assessment work for faster as well as better outcomes. The company received the first ISO confirmation from the DNV for the new laboratory for the procedures as well as operations of quality control (Tatweer Petroleum, 2015). Tools that is used in Tatweer Petroleum to monitor Quality Tatweer Petroleum used several technical tools to monitor quality. The company used the iSupplier Portal tool to use information for the transactions. The network of Tatweer Petroleum also monitors the quality and the production of the goods such as oil and gas and accordingly, develops the effectiveness of the business. The company also uses new and advanced tools to monitor the quality and meet the demand of the customers. The company sustained its efforts related to air quality monitoring of the regions for developing the practices of waste management (Tatweer Petroleum, 2015). Records for maintain Quality in Tatweer Petroleum The department of the quality control and the quality standards maintains the quality of the projects or the goods. This department provides information regarding proper maintenance of the quality. Regular evaluation of database and expertise in knowledge also helps to maintain the quality. To maintain the quality, the company maintains the operational data and ensure a proper communication with the operational managers in the production department. The company also works with the regional, corporate as well as local corporate staff to maintain the quality (Tatweer Petroleum, 2015). Practical and Positive Steps to improve the Quality of the Tatweer Petroleum Tatweer Petroleum is one of the developed oil and gas companies in Bahrain, which provides the best services. The company should focus on several strategies to meet the needs of the internal customers and external customers. In this respect, the company will be able to ascertain future economic growth as well as development. Subsequently, the company needs to adopt advanced technologies as well as technical tools for enhancing quality, which is one the positive steps. The company should improve the use of iSiupplier Portal tool for using accurate information for the enhancement of the quality and the development of the company (Tatweer Petroleum, 2015).
