Introduction
Operation strategies determine if a business will succeed or not. As would be borrowed from the case study of Pisano & Adams (2009), some companies opt to adopt a mixed method of operation strategy as they hope to access to more and more markets outside their localities. Others companies opt to go with a combination of strategies, such as outsourcing and internal manufacturing just as the case study of VF brands (Pisano & Adams, 2009).
Thesis Statement
This study will apply the hypothesis that strategic operations strategy is a central ingredient to conducting successful business. There exist different aspects that lead to successful businesses amongst them well planned operations strategy.
Scope
The scope of this study will center on VF brands which is going to be the case study of this work. This case study will help assess the link between strategic operations and the success of businesses.
Methodology and Approaches
The required data for this research will be gathered using literature review. The literature search will focus on the main words that facilitate the research- strategic operations strategy and successful business.
Implications of Research
From the study, it will be possible to conclude if strategic operations strategy is in reality as a key ingredient to successful business with regard to the case study of VF brands or other factors play a more significant role.
