Project Management and Implementation Process Introduction The right path to success in every business is proper business management, which involves the use of technology with attention to all aspects of competitiveness ranging from customers tastes and preferences to the products on offer. When a business engages at poor job and requirement definition, it is obvious that the management will face barriers in passing information needs to the stakeholders of such a business. In consideration to operations departments of the business, an automobile business is often affected by issues of handling and managing of a new project, and this is what involves the function of a project manager. It has also been identified that for an organization to run efficiently, management should take the responsibility of ensuring that all the necessary factors of effective project management are put into consideration. Thereafter, develops a proper plan to mitigate chances downfalls within the business. However, one of the major problems that automobile companies face is the inability to influence broader market margins. Therefore, this paper unravels problems affection project implementation in an organization and various measures to mitigate such occurrences. Scope of the problems Similar to any other project management, project scope addresses initiatives at all levels of project management and the implementation strategies agreed at the initial stages of project development. Based on the human resource problem, several scholars have clarified that poor human resource management would directly affect capital market. For instance, training of newly recruited employees is a large problem to most of the businesses compared to competitors who prosper by retaining their employees. No company would ever love to incur expenses in training employees only to lose them. Besides, constant shifting of employees reduces outcome and competitive development of business. Wagner & Bode (2009), illustrates that the use computerized services and internet facilities within an organization are vital to changes in various ways thus relating organizational skills towards the contribution of adequate returns to the company. It has also been clarified that companies that use technology often has customized response to any slightest change in liaison to consumers demand by producing goods and services through controlled production process Wagner & Bode (2009). Moreover, it may affect some sections of the organization especially members of the staffs who feel that they are ill targeted by the change process. Purpose The main purpose of a project manager being engaged to find a solution to problems associated by project such as the ones listed above is to prevent such problems from having broader extension to the other departments and to mitigate any other future occurrence. However, some of the issues that are critical parcel this project managements and implementation entails 1. To identify the best solution to the problems affecting human resource and management 2. To determine the technological impact to the organizational rate of production 3. To evaluate how best the restructuring process affects the productivity of an organization Impacts of the problems Improper project management may affect organizational productivity in different measures resulting to an irreversible damage of future returns. In essence, Constant dismissal and recruitment of organizational employees interfere with the breeding of skills that are vital to quality production. Such activities lead to a reduction in financial performance and the market value. The use of technology internet interactivity such as video conferencing and chartrooms have reduced the level of physical instructiveness within the organization thus lowers sufficient knowledge based solutions that can be achieved through physical brainstorming. Moreover, by involving security surveillance system is susceptible to reduction of employee morale because it brings a feeling they are not trusted by the organization might reduce their general productivity. Consequently, technology designed for by staff members may be used for personal ill motives to spread rumors and grapevine that are of negative impacts to the business (Wagner & Bode, 2009). When a business takes an initiative to restructure its operational process, it may achieve better economies of scale such as tremendous reduction in its operational costs. Moreover, sourcing for external services by an organization mostly less costly compared to seeking internal labor force. In contrast to decision and communication skills that benefit an organization from the restructuring process, such business is likely lose skilled labors since recruitment of new employees always incur extraneous expenses for during the training process (Alkhafaji, 2001). Relevant Solutions Properly managed and organized project encounters minimal problems throughout its implementation process. Therefore, the problems above must undergo intrinsic steps in order to achieve the benefits. In order to curb the above occurrences, the practice of employees’ retention should be overemphasized while putting consideration to skills development. Besides, the use of incentives and retention of employees as the best practice is vital to the firm in harmonizing the relationship between the employees and the company (Sims, 2002). In order to solve issues of negativity associated by technological impacts to the business, project management personnel must ensure that all the stakeholders are involved in every aspect of project development. This helps in shielding of rebellious act to a change process while avoiding the perception that such changes may be targeting negatively at team members. To the company that is still entrenched into the traditional methods of the production process, relevant approaches should be implemented to enable them recognizes the importance of technology to the production process and cutting down of costs. Consequently, organization should consider restructuring as an essential activity to improve the productivity of the firm, but not to undermine the workers productivity. (Wagner & Bode, 2009). Sources of project management problems There is proper identification that the best way to curb chances of reoccurrences of project management problems, there must be proper identification to source of the problems must be first (Sims, 2002). Throughout the project management plan, clarification points out that assigning an incompetent executive and a novel to handle the technological aspect is the main source of a problem failure. In addition, poor communication among the staff members also attributes t the project management problem. However, by putting positive to all the above measures, it become very easy to achieve the result from the management process Discussions Technological revolution has drastically transformed how a company carries out its operation in the current world of business to achieve the best competitive edge. With reports pointing out at increase in the rate that companies experience the need for workers with enough skills in mathematics, business communication or synergy on behalf of the business. However, technological impact depends on an occupation of the worker or industry that a person specializes. Most scholars have pointed out that company that invests in technology experience high demand for non-production workers more similar to the number of production workers as clarified by (Wagner & Bode, 2009). Companies that have not embraced technological transformations experience lesser productivity gains with high penetration of the business operations into traditional based strategies. With attention to adopting new working strategies, some organizations set up groups to help in solving simple business problems. It is necessary to ensure that employment security and better communication channels. The above would provide adequate evidence on how better human resource management is linked to workers productivity. Several theories have pointed out that an organizational directive of assigning a role an employee, highly determines the rate of productivity of such a worker towards the assigned task (Sims, 2002). In the past, most of the researches have given suggestions that human resource practices are necessary in sustaining an organizational performance. Issues such poor employee’s recruitment with less attention to the organizational culture is highly subjective towards the relapse of the organization. As illustrated by Sweeny (2008), any organization that engages in the restructuring activity should be fully prepared to embrace several changes in their in their development planning process. Despite the fact development process are always characterized by adoption and implementation of new strategies that are beneficial to the company Conclusion In every successful project implementation process, a project manager must take adequate measures by ensuring that the implementation process is effectively undertaken in a way that it does not affect the staff members. Putting into considerations issues such as recruitment process, technology and organizational restructuring process, this paper has identified how proper project implementation is beneficial to the organization by cutting down unnecessary expenses.
