?Background The Peter Drucker belonged to the Jewish who later accepted Christianity. He was born in Austria spend his early times in Europeanregion including Germany and England in the family of scholars and thinkers where new ideas were discussed on routine basis. He wrote more than 39 books and was several journals. He wrote regular articles in Wall street Journal for 10 years. He permanently relocated to United States after marriage and continued with his profession as a professor and freelance management consultant. Peter’s era was the twentieth century where his career regarding management consultant grew from 1942.Peter Drucker had led a bright career in teaching phycology, sociology and management. Ultimately he pioneered in offering an executive MBA program for working professionals in Claremont Graduate University. His writing and critical thinking regarding the improvement of the organization as to adopt the human resource and benefit the human race urged him to write several books and articles. Although being the management consultant he was not much inspired by the numbers but he was focused upon improving the organizational cultures and relations so that the human resource management can be done more effectively and beneficially. Peter Drucker’s writing regarding society and politics led him to work in the high level management of one of the biggest company around the world at that time, General Motors. Peter taught the management of liberal art where the relation regarding the suppliers, customers, employees and other companies were given much value than crunching of the numbers. With his workings and phycology Peter earned links in the top management of the many of the big bulls of that time including General Electric, IBM, Sears and many more especially in Japan as Japanese where really inspired with his works. Main Thought From the start Peter Drucker was more inspired and exaggerated the relationship between the people then from the valuation of numbers. The main focus of Peter was upon improving the relation between the employees and enhancing the capabilities of the human resource. He was much inspired by those who work with minds rather than those who work with hands. Most of the works of Peter Drucker is upon the betterment of the management in the organizations as he believed that private organizations play a vital role for the betterment of the society. Peter’s belief of making organization better to better serve the society led to many ideas in reforming the organizational cultures and norms so that the private sectors serve the economy and enhance the human lives. The Wall Street Journal called Drucker “the most influential management thinker of the past century,” who “developed a loyal following among many of the world’s most-famous corporate chieftains, and became the model of the modern management guru, a craft he plied far more modestly than many of his successors” (Thurm & Lublin, 2005). Peter believed that the human resource is one of the most important assets to the company and the management should value the employees and train them accordingly so that the employees would bring out their talent and benefit the organization and the society. it is this thought of Peter Drucker that realized the worth of human resource in the organizations and ultimately leaded to the enhancements in the human capabilities. Peter Drucker idealized the importance of the private sector as the organizations and their relation with the better society by providing human resource that are more benefiting for the society as a whole. According to him the works of the workers should be appraised and appreciated. By appreciation the motivation level of the individuals increase and thus improves the potential of the individual ultimately resulting in the enhancement of knowledge within the individual and then spreading in the social circle and thus benefiting for the whole society. The appreciations of the works of the workforce is the main reason that the workforce devotion in the work increases and along with the power to apply those increased performance to be performed the management plays a vital role in enhancing human capabilities. Criticism is good but appreciation is better. In explaining the management of the company Peter defined Marketing as the core of the business and never considered it as a separate specialized activity that is to be served but Marketing was considered to be the core management (Frederick, 2009). When described and associated marketing as one of the core basics of management Peter elaborated and spread the idea of value to the relations to the economical and practical level where the marketing is the relation between the organization and its customer. Peter determined the private organizations as the social institutes. His insistence on the business corporation being a social institution and management as a social system with multiple stakeholders (Derrick, 2013). The organization when considered as a social network elaborates that the organization’s importance in the society and socialism. The workers in the organizations not only work for the sake of earning but to develop a social culture and the management when provide the healthy work environment along with healthy culture enhances the social network of the employees which is not limited within the organization and it spreads and thus ultimately lead to the whole society. The Competing Values Framework also known as “CVF” is an exceptional tool which helps analyzing individual as well as the organizational culture. This helps plotting courses for an organizational culture change, which is an essential aspect of gaining tactical advantages (Scott, 2010). The competing values framework determines that the individual enhancement is necessary so as to the organizational to get more benefits from the human resource and thus compete. In this framework the ideology of Peter Drucker where he elaborated the individual relationship within the organization so as the organization can determine more output from its human resource thus benefiting the organization fits in the sense as the development and progress of the organization lead to the development and progress of the economy as a whole. Critique The ideas delivered by Peter Drucker is the relation between the organization and the individuals so as to serve the community as a whole as the private organization plays a vital role in the society is supported by many of the management writers. Karl Polanyi an economic historian, economic anthropologist, political economist, historical sociologist and social philosopher validates the concepts of Peter Drucker where he elaborated and insisted upon the ideology of the better society as the resultant from better organizational relations (Daniel, 2009). Peter Drucker was a management consultant, educator, and author, whose writings contributed to the philosophical and practical foundations of the modern business corporation. The relationship that he developed between the societies and the organizations where the source of better society is determined from the organizational cultures and norms in which the employees work and develop the social skills thus implement upon the society and the economy as a whole. Scott Lincoln is the professor from Handong Global University issued several article relating to the competing values framework where he elaborated the incorporation of Peter Drucker’s ideas of better relation leading to successful organization and a progressing economy.
