There are several ways of motivating employees. One best way to motivate employees is by asking them questions or just asking for their opinions on a certain matter. When employees are asked questions, they feel appreciated and trusted with giving opinions and this will motivate them to take on challenges instead of running away from difficult situations. Most importantly, their decisions and priorities should be influenced by their understanding of how the company’s products can positively affect the community at large.

The other best way to motivate employees is by letting them know of the objectives and goals of the company and how they change with time. Managers and small business owners tend to assume that their employees know what they want which is not true at all. Employees who have been working in an organization for some period of time tend to get comfortable with their current positions and have difficulties taking on challenging work. Employers have to take an initiative and motivate their employees by helping them develop deep skills by stretching organizational goals and showing faith in them.

Making or ensuring teamwork amongst new hires with new technical abilities with other team members may be a difficult task but this can be overcome through the creation of a positive workplace environment. A manager can ensure teamwork between new and older employees by the promotion of teamwork and cooperation through identifying the talents of all team members and the determining on how they complement each other. David Nason, COO and CTO of Robust decisions Inc. says that in his company, they make sure that when they find a person with their desired skills, they make sure that the person spends time with his/her future peers and get to know each other on personal levels.

This promotes good teamwork and interactions. We cannot deny that new hirers can feel lonely in the workplace if not welcomed to the office on their first day at work. But this can be avoided by ensuring that they have been kept up to speed on their tasks and there is someone who can help them find their way around the office. Studies show that attaching name tags of colleagues on their working space especially the monitors will help them learn their names quickly. According to the recruitloop.

com, outlining every employee’s important information will help them perfect their work. Before a company gets to recruit new employees to work they have to attract workers to their environment. In order to attract new skilled employees the company has to set some exemplary characteristics to be admired by every person inside and outside the company. In order for this to happen, the manager should encourage employees to work efficiently as a team. Team work comes about in an organization when the manager allows employees to bring outside interests to work and also give them frequent opportunities to meet people across the organization to help them know one another deeply.
